All profits generated by the sale of images, books or calendars are directed to Children’s Charities.Funds are currently being directed to Cameras for Healing which uses Visual Art as a philosophy of healing. The project uses cameras as a therapeutic tool to empower victims of trauma through the provision of a new way to view the world.
Canadian photographer Maurice Henri believes that the camera can help build a culture of peace. Henri wants teens and young adults to look past their frightening experiences by seeing the world through the lens of a camera and in so doing see the world around them in a whole new light.
Cameras for Healing has had programs in Sierra Leone, Haiti, Columbia and right here at home.
